What’s Vegan Blount County?
The Vegan Blount County community serves people in the Blount County, Tennessee area who are eating a plant-based diet, or interested in trying to reduce their meat, egg, and dairy consumption.
We are so glad you are here!
This is a work in progress, with the initial focus on getting vegan options on the menu of every restaurant in Blount County.
First is a list of current Blount County vegan restaurant options.

What is topping 2021’s food trend lists, according to Food Network? Vegan comfort food.
Why? Because a vegan diet is yummy. And good for you, animals, and the planet.
Imagine enjoying hearty treats like pasta carbonara, pizza, and cinnamon buns without guilt.
So, why not improve your health, support the environment, and be more compassionate by reducing your meat and dairy consumption?
By reducing your consumption of animal products you can:
- First, improve Your health: Many studies show that people eating plant-based diets live longer and healthier lives. Learn more about the science behind a better diet.
- Second, support the environment: Factory farming of animals is terrible for the environment. And greenhouse gas emissions from animal agriculture are 50% larger than from all forms of transportation.
